About

Gentry Gibson is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC) and the founder of Bond Street Counseling. She received dual master’s degrees from Columbia University in mental health counseling and education, and specializes in cognitive behavior therapy and evidence-based mindfulness interventions. Her postgraduate training is with the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation, a collaborating partner with the University of Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry.

Gentry is particularly passionate about serving young adults who may find themselves at a crossroads of decision-making related to school, career, life purpose, relationships, and family, or are experiencing other stressors in those areas of life. She has a focus in the treatment of anxiety disorders and aims to provide individuals with the support and tools to move into the activities and ways of being that they highly value.

In therapy with Gentry, you’ll find an approach that is active, engaging, goal-oriented, and collaborative. She believes that the empathic therapeutic relationship, insight, and skill-building can empower clients to reach their goals, improving well-being and unleashing the ability to thrive.
